Prodel has a history of providing assembly equipment for over forty-eight years. We have sold more than 10,000 modules in the last twenty years. We have a 10,000 square foot facility complete with project management and support teams, a show room, warehouse, training center, and video conferencing abilities.
  • Technology
    • Turbo controllers- These plain language controllers are used by Prodel. They are designed to be effective and easy to program which requires less training to support than other PLC based systems. Changes may be implemented quickly without the use of a PC.
    • Embedded Axis Control- Does not require separate controller for robot. Using integrated robotics is efficient and simple.
    • Ethernet based network- Turbo controllers have network capabilities; this allows production tracking and supervisory control over a whole line.

  • Cost
    • Standard products : We compete with "turntable " system using DirectLine. We offer state of the art Flexible systems using AFP and A3D either standard or turnkey machines.
    • Flexibility- Systems may be reconfigured quickly and cheaply as the process or product changes. Prodel uses pallet RF tags so multiple products may run simultaneously on the same line.
    • Modularity- Prodel has a patented design. Modules can be interchanged on the base structure easily. Assembly or testing can be added or removed to your product by expanding or reducing the base structure and corresponding modules.
    • Retool- Tooling is designed for quick and easy change out. The cost of assembly equipment can be spread over the life of several products instead of just one as with dedicated assembly equipment. We can retool a Prodel system for a fraction of the cost of purchasing a new one and still provide the same high level of quality we associate with the Prodel name. The result is a substantial reduction in capital equipment expenditures for production of products.

    • Prodel has designed and built world-class modular assembly equipment for over 48 years. We have constantly improved our equipment designs resulting in a system that is flexible and reliable with an absolute minimum of down time.

  • Lead Time
    • Due to the modularity of our assembly systems the base module is already manufactured once a customer places an order. This means 60% of the project is done. This allows Prodel to concentrate on your assembly and testing process, devote more time to equipment maintainability, and proper design of touch tooling, while maintaining a compressed delivery schedule.
    • We have a skilled team of designers. All designs are done in CAD SolidWorks and the project is tracked from start to finish with SAP.

  • Production Ramp up
    • Installation- Skilled technical teams will install and configure all equipment based on customer needs.
    • Equipment Optimization- After equipment is installed, Prodel will help to optimize equipment for post ramp up production rates.
    • Training- Prodel provides free training for all new equipment installations. A variety of advanced training classes are also available to fully develop the end users maintenance department and promote internal skills and equipment support.
